City from the South

This is the view of Birmingham from the Lickey Hills to the south of the city.  I thought I would take advantage of the slightly better weather to get this shot.  The first building you see is part of the old Rover works in Longbridge.  The newer buildings behind this are the Longbridge Village shopping centre and one of the local college buildings.  At the next level, if you look over the left you see some curved white buildings which make up the new Birmingham University Hospital Queen Elizabeth.  Towards the right on a same sort of level you should be able to spot the sunlight on a red brick tower which is the Birmingham University Clock Tower.  You might also be able to see the Post Office Tower amongst the other buildings of the City Centre.

Thank you all for your good wishes for Rob.  He was a bit unpredictable for a time in the waterworks department last night but that seemed to settle down and he has been having a quieter day today but feeling generally not too bad.
