The Railway Children Return

More than 50 years after the original iconic family film 'The Railway Children' was made, a sequel is being filmed around Haworth.
This is good news all round, especially for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway whose revenue has been decimated by Covid restrictions.
The down side is the area has been swamped by the filming people.
Oxenhope Station and its car park is full of their vehicles, as is the Parsonage car park in Haworth.  Today Haworth Main Street was closed for filming.
This rather colourful mural is in the Parsonage car park and depicts local life and events around Haworth and the Worth Valley.
Additional information - according to RicsPics Haworth Main Street was actually closed  today for a different film 'Emily' about Emily Bronte.  Wow - Hollywood  beware - Haworth is taking over :-)
