And then the grey cloud lifted.

Wet morning. And a grey early afternoon. And then this!

We walked around the harbour and up through some of the University during the grey period. There was activity at St Salvator’s Quad. Various staff were deployed painting and pressure washing before a Royal visit; part of their much trailed “Scotland Week” sojourn. Patronising. And so false. Sadly it’s likely he’ll kite buggy or similar on the beach, so that’ll be closed off.

Some students reaching the end of Term or their Degree were jumping off the pier. In the grey period, when we were on the pier, three took the plunge. In today’s journal photo five hardly souls had just come out of the water. The sun may have been out, but it was equally as cold in the water I’m sure.

Family are well.
