Journey home!

What a long day!

We got off the ferry in Hock Of Holland at about 7 am.

We walked the dogs on the beach and it was lovely - except for the not very friendly Springer Spaniel we met, that tried to attack Biscuit :-(

When the dogs had had a good run, we were ready to start the long drive up through Europe.

We got through Holland ok and crossed the German border. In Germany, we were pulled over by 3 German customs officers! They wanted to see passports, drivers licens and the dogs' pets passports. It turned out that the officer in charge had a Border Collie and a Sheltie Cross at home, and he was very excited about the boys. He had never heard about dancing dogs though.

In Germany it started to snow. At first it was sort of nice and very pretty, but about 200 km from the Danish border, it got really bad! It was a snow storm! We had a couple of hours, where we hardly moved! It was a horrid weather!

Finally we arrived to the Puttgarden/Rødby ferry, which gave us a 45 mins break before we drove the last 1½ hours to Helle's. Packed my stuff into my car and finally at 10 pm, the boys and I arrived home!

I am exhausted now! So night night, blippers!
See you tomorrow!
