Minerals

I knew the "stuff" I bought while on holiday would come in handy one day. I probably bought these minerals while on holiday in the USA, but have long discarded the descriptions that came with them.  The two miniature vases are made from clay, which is a fine-grained material composed primarily of hydrous aluminum silicates, making it not a single mineral. but a number of minerals (courtesy of Google).  The other two pieces are agate (I think) and the tray is sitting on a granite worktop. The seashell shouldn't be there as it's not a mineral, but it is tiny. Thanks go to freespiral for hosting and making my day more interesting.
