Pepper’s bluebells

A sunny interval between deluges! We had a brisk walk round Pepper’s Wood to see how it was doing after all the ridiculous flood defences being bulldozed. Pleased to see the bluebells have mostly survived, we saw speckled wood and orange tip, and some tadpoles. There were no great pools of water behind the new bunds so still puzzled why the destructive work was carried out.
A nice walk and we just got back to the car before the next downpour!

Also, Andrew and Tom have had their first jabs!!
