Old Bricks

Here we are, 10 days from Spring and bitter winds from the east carrying snow showers that at times looked and felt more like blizzards !

In our garden we have a raised old brick platform for a garden seat. It catches the evening sun here in the summer. However, some of the bricks have buckled and split, because of the snow and ice.

I just love the way snow always highlight the edges, or the gaps, often going unseen when snow whiteness is not there during the rest of the year. It brings with it new treasurers to behold and admire as I look at the finer detail that these weather conditions bring.

A journey of discovery, of the small, little things that often goes un-missed. Amply because we do not take the time to stand and stare...
