First light, Orewa Beach

I was tired last night. Not only from the weekend festivities but today's activities too.

Jennie and her daughter left for home in Oz, I took Dad to a specialist appointment at hospital and Mum to the GP in the afternoon. Then I cooked a slap up meal of steak etc to mark Dad's birthday on Sunday.

And yes, I'm continuing with running too (and trying to hold the usual sore bits together).

With all of that I shouldn't have been awake early but I was. Before I ran I walked down to the beach to watch the day break.

I realised how happy and contented I am when I'm playing with my camera :-)
