California Dreaming

I have spent hours in the garden today weeding, planting and generally tidying. We brought this Californian lilac with us in a pot 7 years ago when we moved here, planted it  beside my garage and it never stops growing. Every year I have to wait till the end of the year to cut it back as it tries to take over the garden but the bees love the flowers. Last year we had blackbirds nesting in it.
