No one at Nat Geo...

...needs to be concerned about their job, but I The featured photo here is baby purple gallinules...In the diamond near the bottom of the picture you can see the birds mouth is open and an eyeball. At the top of the diamond (just above the first babies head) is the beak of another baby. Oh yeah!

Picture in the top right shows that it must be time for that be to take the load of pollen on his legs back to wherever he’s taking it… Just one more load.

Below that one, The best I could do with some butterflies that really did not want to sit still for me. Inconsiderate :-)

Below the butterflies is a harder-to-see shot with the adult gallinule feeding one of the babies. 

Bottom row... cattail, a (second) pair of nesting sandhill cranes, a small spider reading the nature info sign and one of hundreds of beautiful water lilies.
