The tadpole realised too late, that going under cover with the pond weed, would not help it hide from the pond newts.
If you rightly think it's not really a wide shot, then you may prefer the small group in the shade of the tree (low centre bench in extra image.) It was lovely to see some blue sky and sunshine today.
