#693... District Cross Country...

After a very drawn out cross country season due to Covid-19 and be postponed due to rain, we finally got to run the districts... At the halfway point Ruben and Thomas (class mate) were running together in 6th and 7th... Only the top 6 get to go onto Regionals next Tuesday... As they come into view for the last 1km.... Ruben trailed Thomas by 2 strides... As they took the steep rise and reached the top of it, it's then a long straight to the finish ĺine... Ruben gave his all but couldn't catch Thomas, which meant that Thomas finished in 6th and Ruben finished in the 7th with only half a cricket pitch separating them...
