Wednesday, a walk to the medical centre to check on my ankle which got infected after I had knocked it. Antibiotics seem to be working and I was surprised to be shown to the bed just to get a new plaster.  Sarah said not to worry, the bulb had gone in lamp on her desk so she had to move her work station. I was given sterile wipes, plasters and iodine wound dressings to do it myself until the next visit. I did have a job reaching around to the back of my ankle and felt like a contortionist !
