Bubbles

Owing to the appalling state of our pond our tadpoles disappeared without trace and, despite the addition of weed the water remains full of algae. At one time we installed a fountain but the pump clogged and the foxes pulled the unit out of the pond by the wire.

Miss Flum recently presented us with an aerator which pumps air through the water from an external supply, Mr Flum finished the installation today.

it will be interesting to see what beneficial effects result, though I accept that we may need to clean out the pond completely before next spring.
