Another sign that spring is progressing, my first Brown Silver-line moths of the year. You’ll disturb these if you’re walking through dead bracken, while this year’s new growth is just emerging.

I‘d missed the best of the sunshine by the time I got out in the afternoon but it was still quite pleasant out.
