1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Our beautiful Mom. Beauty, grace, gentleness, peace making, courageous, content.

Mother’s Day was pleasant and uneventful. Mom was happy to be at Church worshipping the Lord, and at lunch with her family, a lovely hamburger BBQ at her eldest daughter’s. It was a small, relaxed gathering. Mother/Daughter pictures were taken.

Some of us sat down to wii bowling after, Mom preferred a snooze in the chair this particular afternoon, she was so pleasant.
We had no idea this would be our last Mother’s Day with her, but at age 89, I found myself always mindful to savor the moments and drink in her loveliness and appreciate every day, every memory we were given.

This is a back blip. Mom curled up, trusted her life in the arms of Jesus, and went to sleep for the last time on May 21st. I may talk about that a little more if I back blip that day, but for now, suffice it to say, she taught us much about contentment and we are blessed beyond measure that she was our Mom. To many of you, she was grammapat. So greatly missed and forever loved.
