Coober Pedy

A 526km drive found us at the Opal mining town of Coober Pedy this afternoon.  Wow, talk about the outback, this town is a metaphor for outback!  We went for a stroll down town before settling in for a night around a campfire.  I couldn’t resist posting the Sturt Desert Pea as my main image.  My extras are of the underground museum and tonight’s spectacular sunset.  We are inching closer to Uluru :)
