The Center building from Mid Levels

I could hardly believe my eyes earlier this year when a friend from my first job after graduating over 30 years ago messaged me out of the blue.

We’d lost touch after she moved to Hong Kong. Of all the lost friends I’ve had, she’s probably the one I’ve regretted most because she was - is - lovely.

We’ve met up every couple of weeks since then and tonight we went around to meet her lovely husband for the first time.
They live in Mid-Levels and here’s a blip I took on the walk back to the ferry pier. It’s a view of the deserted street near The Center building, the 5th tallest building in Hong Kong.
