Ellesmere Lake

Glorious sunshine in the north west today and a perfect day for visiting the new RHS garden near Salford. RHS Bridgewater is a brand new garden and it was fascinating to see the masterplan starting to take shape.   Most of the plants are newly planted and will need time to mature and it's going to be fascinating to watch it transform over the next few years.  The main is Ellesmere Lake, the extra is part of the Chinese Streamside Garden.
