The Truck

There is a heavy rain warning for the area we were driving through today.  Fortunately the rivers were still low and there were no slips across the road so we drove through the steady rain with very little other traffic on the road.  We stopped for a cup of tea from the thermos at this spot because there was a shelter there.  I ended up going back into the truck because it was freezing.  We call our Toyota ute the truck and it may come in useful on this trip being four wheel drive and we have snow chains.  I will tell you what the shovels are for next weekend.  
Tonight we are in Christchurch and the lovely daughter cooked us a delicious dinner.
