Windmill 'De Hoop', Rozenburg

'Hoop' sounds like and means 'hope'.  I'm inclined to think this is a favourite name because it reflects everyone's hope that floods will no longer inundate the land the way they used to -- hope for a better future!

Our first of apparently one week of sunny days!  Hopefully more than a week as we've had almost 6 months of cold.  Of course, I just had to hit the road.

Housework and intense research at home, and AW enjoyed an evening of live bridge at Sweed and Benna's.  I'm in reasonably good spirits.  We've managed despite all kinds of obstacles to stay together and weather things out and resolve issues.  That will never change, to quote Murtagh.
