Starling

The predicted sunshine did not last long here today and it has been overcast all afternoon and threatening to rain.
There are a group of 5 starlings which have been flying noisily between our garden and a neighbours, they make some funny noises and have been squabbling over who gets to peck at the fat balls. They are one of my favourite birds and have sadly been in decline in the UK for many years so I am delighted to have them chattering and screeching around my garden!
