May is Out

"Ne'er cast a clout 'til May is out " is an old English saying.  The May blossom on this lovely hawthorn tree is out so its safe now to cast your clouts. Unless you think that you need to wait until May is over in which case you had better keep your clouts on until June, i.e. next Tuesday. Don't get too hot over the weekend; good weather is forecast.
