Life through my eyes

A vintage day

An almost perfect day.  I have called it vintage as it hit 22 deg C today and that is vintage peach colour on the blankets.  It was also really nice to spend some time with Mum and Dad again. Dad had come down to remove a fuchsia root that was the source of friction with next door.  It's been there since we moved and always seemed to be owned by the neighbours.  It was huge, about 3cm x 10cm and a paving slab was in the way so made the job harder for him.

It was also nice to chat with Mum a bit, and she made her pasties!  I haven't had them since March 2020!  Boy did they taste good!

So the day was almost perfect.  All it needed was for Mr T to have been able to come downstairs.

My Blip today is of Mum and Dad with their blankets and in the extra they are holding up last years.  It's not 100% easy to see but you can tell how much colder this year has been.  I'm on column 17 and by this time last year it was high teens/low twenties.
