Oystercatcher

This morning we went to Holkham Hall to have a walk around and look at the walled garden as we haven’t seen it on previous visits.
I got a nice picture oh the hall with some deer in front of it but when we got to the garden this oystercatcher was nesting on an disused cold frame. They had her fenced of but visitors were  walking around the garden well away from her. Fortunately I had me long lens with me so got a decent picture which wins over a stately home in my book.
Spent the afternoon catching up with friends 
Beautiful sunny day with a cooling breeze just right
