Stirling's "Iconic" Bridge

This footbridge over the railway station cost almost £7million to build a few years ago. The Council justified the cost on the grounds that it is "iconic".

I like bridges in general and don't dislike this one - but the thought of the cost always detracts from any pleasure in looking at it.......and the lifts never work.
