Garden's Edge

I just happened to glance out of the kitchen window while I was preparing our evening meal and I saw a shaft of sunlight striking the tall grass at the edge of the garden. Not knowing how long it would last, I abandoned the cooking and dashed outside with my camera. This is the result, and yes, the meal survived unscathed too.
While out for a walk earlier I snapped this view (extra) to the north-west of Mull. The Ardnamurchan peninsula is in the middle distance, with Ardnamurchan Lighthouse standing very close to the most westerly point of the British mainland.
