Dads birthday

Today would have been Darren’s dads birthday. Born 30th may 1935, he’d have been 86.
Darren misses him enormously and thinks of him every day.
One of Darren’s younger brothers is in the photo and the photo probably dates back to the middle eighties. At the time of photo it’s quite possible Darren’s dad was working for jacobs, the biscuit firm, he used to be a wagon driver delivering biscuits to shops all across the north of England. The join our club t shirt is a reference to the club biscuits, Darren’s favourite was always club mint, his dad always managed to load extra on the van, which either ended up at home or he did private sales himself, he’d undercut jacobs with their own biscuits, hehe.
He was a top bloke and dad and it was hard not to like him.
