The Royal Pavilion

We visited the Royal Pavilion, designed for King George IV. Every visit we notice something we haven’t seen before. It’s opulence is overwhelming. Queen Victoria thought it was a bit busy too choosing Osborne House instead.

Refreshed by a welcome cuppa we browsed the jewellery quarter in the Lanes before heading to the pub where my stepson has been appointed temporary manager. Lunch was good, Martin had a roast dinner while I chose a posh pie pithivier. It was good to see James without having to travel to his London pub.
