We had a good litter pick this morning, and I found a £20! We also found a bottle of beer with cap intact, a pink shot, and a huge floppy hat (we put that in the clothing bank), amongst the usual detritus.
Then back to do chores, washing, and housework. I mowed the lawns but so many ox eye daisies have come up during ‘no mow May’ that I left a couple of patches, a large J shape on my lawn and a rectangle on Ted’s next door, for the bees and insects to enjoy.
I had a quick trip to get more fat balls for the growing number of birds, especially all the sparrows that live in the hedge.
I joined my brother and Naomi for the zoom session in the evening.
Then watched Call the Midwife for a relaxed bit of downtime.
