Just floating about

I was sorely tempted to join that rhododendron bud as it floated on the surface of the wee pond behind the walled garden.

It has been so hot today ...... ideal conditions for enjoying a walk but for me it was far too hot for just sitting in the sun.

Can I be bothered to water the garden tonight .... NO! Still too hot and I get bitten by all the wee beasties that appear in the early evening.
