Galileo’s thermometer

Found this a couple of days ago in sorting through old stuff. Put it to one side but just noticed this evening that it’s working! A nice object.

Hot day but only got outside at meal times to eat. Then this evening walked around my land looking for missing sheep. Didn’t find him which is very strange. Saw him in field yesterday.

Rest of day sorting through old stuff with Pascale this afternoon. This morning unpacked china from parents’ house. Need to get rid of it, but don’t know how to sell it.
