BCrecreate "Bye-bye, Miss American Pie"

As it is the last day of the BCrecreate Challenge, Fred agreed to help me recreate an iconic album cover which I hope you instantly recognised?

This album reached number one within a few weeks of being released in 1971 and remained on the Billboard chart for almost a year.

Don McLean is hugely significant to my family as he was my Mum's favourite artist and she had seen him live more times than I can remember over the years. We said goodbye to her back in 2012 and she already had her tickets to see him yet again later that year.

I struggle to listen to him without bursting into tears even now, but when he pops up on the radio or my playlist I always think about how much she loved his music.
