And finally the sun came out ...

Blue sky. Relatively warm air. Not too busy a beach as it’s not a Bank Holiday in Scotland. Great fun planning, gathering and finally igniting our ancient bucket bbq/mini fire pit on the beach. Our main course was Fish and Chips but the melted marshmallows were the highlight for our 8 and 6 year olds! We are so grateful to them and their parents for making the marathon trek north to see us!
