Morning outing...

to Rainier for breakfast with daughter Sanna and grandson Gage. Everyone else was engaged elsewhere. Afterwards we walked along the river, noting the ship loaded with windmill parts heading upriver. The parts are huge!
In the first extra, a Cedar Waxwing; there was a flock of them in the bushes by the river. In the second extra, these eight tiny ducklings were crossing Hwy 30 ( a four lane highway) all on their own. There was no mom in sight. Thankfully all lanes of traffic stopped for them to cross. Hope they make it!
