Where's the road?

Another beautiful day, with the addition of a balmy breeze. on a walk round the head of the loch this afternoon, J and I decided to go "off piste" because the road was so busy. This led to all sorts of different experiences and views from unusual angles. Because the water level is so low, we succeeded in crossing the River Bellart, sustaining only one slightly damp foot, Then we inspected at close quarters the feat of civil engineering that allows us to travel the way we normally do (by road). I rarely think very much about what lies beneath my feet or tyres but, looking at this, perhaps I ought not to be so trusting. The extra gives some context.
