The Punk

Drying,  after a much needed bath and cool down.  This one must be the young Blackbird I blipped a couple of weeks' ago, now got some of its new feathers and probably feeling very itchy.  Mum seems to have abandoned him now that he's a big boy, but he still hangs around underneath the bird feeders and is quite tame allowing me to give him special treats!

It has been another spectacular day weatherwise and a lovely relaxing morning for me, coffee with C, a very dear ex-workmate, and tea in our garden this afternoon with B, another ex-workmate. It's so good to be able to see friends again and we have the far-flung family to catch up with again soon.

Must get back to being productive again tomorrow, always lots to do in the garden and plans for more TravelswithMatilda perhaps?!
