Keeping An Eye.....

...on things, and a watchful one at that, in the local town square :-)

The news on the Great Tit, it does return to the eggs (four) in the nestbox, but leaves them for a good while during in the day, like an hour or two at a time. 

Its been very interesting to see, and completely unlike a pair of Blue Tits which used to nest, where the one bird was virtually on the eggs most  the time.
