Suffolk tour day 1

A bit of a novelty for us, a centre based tour of Suffolk. Today was a fantastically hot day, I can’t think of a better way to spend the day than cycling around the Suffolk countryside. 54 miles,  Franlingham Castle, Orford Castle and Sutton Hoo and lots of cake! We both felt a bit pooped by the time we got back to the Airbnb. 

Most things have to be pre booked so we were quite surprised to get into the Sutton Hoo exhibition. The workmanship on one of the original pieces was so delicate.

A lot of the local pubs are closed on Tuesday so we cooked a quick tea and now relaxing with wine. Blissful day.
