An un-summery scene

Went for a walk from Highcliffe Castle beach to Mudeford Quay. The path passes through Steamer Point Nature Reserve, where these trees are sparsely leaved and lean into the wind. Looks wintry in monochrome.

In contrast, further along was a fine view of the Needles on the Isle of Wight.
