Female Damselfly

Another beautiful day in which to laze around, although the battery has arrived for JJ's new strimmer so he's been over the back clearing around the fruit trees.  I've potted on the tomatoes and cucumber and tied in the sweet peas.

A pair of damselflies dropped by, see extra, but this picture of the female was far sharper.

I now need to walk down to the postbox to send a card to my great niece and return JJ's old driving licence.  He tried to get a price for car insurance from Direct Line, but it was refused because apparently his driving licence had expired last November.  We need to make a note that licences have to be renewed every three years once you are over 70.
