This morning I had a physio appointment at the Hampden Sports Injuries Clinic. I have been there many times before but things are getting just a bit more complicated with the upcoming Euro 2020.

The physio clinic is right down in the basement of the building which you now enter by driving under the football stands having first checked in with a security guard and been issued with a visitor’s pass which had to be handed in on the way out.

Jennifer, my physio, was telling me that the police with their sniffer dogs were coming at the weekend and then the whole Hampden Park area was going to be secured, with no entries, until the first match on June 14th.

Not being a football fan I’m glad I’m going to be through in Fife on the ‘big’ day.
