Orange-tip Butterfly (male)

With just an hour free this afternoon, I managed a quick visit to Kinghorn Loch where I looked for butterflies.

One tatty peacock and two pairs of orange-tips were found and here is one of the two males.  It is nectaring on the flowers of watercress.

Anthocharis cardamines on Nasturtium officinale
