One daze at a time...

Heyday

Heyday is not exactly what springs to mind to describe student living for the past year and a half. Poor things. Accessing lectures remotely and doing everything from home is not exactly what I would call heyday material...
These student shoes boxes should have been a hive of activity, of planned parties (some happening), of planned fornication (relatively little happening), of planned studying (mostly postponed to the next day), under the watchful eye of Pat-Scissor-Hands.
But the last year was spent at mum and dad's on Teams conference calls. And even though the media highly publicised the antics of a few morons who insisted on partying hard, they were a very very very small minority.
The rest of the student body remained...well... disembodied, with little electrons scattered all alone, with no buzzing around the proton of culture and learning (and all too infrequent fornication for most) that is the University.

From St Patrick-Scissor-Hands in the morning to Our Lady of the Rabid  Midges at 11PM. It's been a long day!  Mayo, here we come!
