A little bit sad

Next week, I'll have to take down our lovely costume display.  We are desperate to get hold of some mannequins.  You can buy them, but they aren't small enough around the waist for us to use.

I borrowed some from a local costume collector, but they have to be returned, so the gowns have to be packed away again.

This particular gown is beautifully restored - it's all hand-made; and the genuine article.
