Abstract Thursday

I loved this (presumably) young person's rainbow painting on a slate outside their gate when I passed on my walk this afternoon.

Earlier my former colleague Marie and I had been treated to lunch at The Clachan by friend-and-ex-boss Alison - we all worked together at one time in Drymen Library - whose sister Marion was visiting from South Africa. Marie and I had met Marion (and her late husband Dave) several times over the years, so it was lovely to see her again.

Sad to report the recent deaths of two of my doggy friends from house-sitting days:
