My late shift, but I was up early as usual. I had an early morning walk to Jean’s to deliver her medicine, and I made it before the carer and district nurse, and it was a gloriously warm sunny walk. Jean was surprised to see me so early; I made her a coffee and put the washing on before I headed back.
I did some gardening, and began weeding Ted’s front border. I had lunch in the garden.
Then went to work. There was a torrential downpour but it had stopped by the time my shift was over.
