The Firth of Forth

It is an absolute blessing to be able to live so close to the water and in such a beautiful part of the country.

Today the weather started a tad overcast so the planned kayak in the Forth was put on hold till the afternoon.

My nephew Cameron was up staying at my parental types for the week, so as promised pre covid era, we got the kayak out and headed for a paddle.

It was a tad choppy en-route to our destination but once there the beach was deserted and wonderfully peaceful.

The sun popped out occasionally on the way home and after the obligatory shots of the underside of the Rail Bridge, our trip was over.

I think Cameron was happy... and I think he will sleep well tonight.

And just mibbees, his shoulders may just remind him to start training again!!!!
