Scones...

I got a notion for wanting some fruit scones today, so here is my first effort in 20 years at making them. I used a Delia Smith recipe (you know you can't really go wrong with a Delia recipe) and this is how they turned out!

Although, I think I may have rolled the dough too thin - therefore they didn't rise a whole lot. But, they still tasted yummy fresh out of the oven with some strawberry jam & clotted cream... Mmmmmmmmm..... :-)

Not a bad effort... even if I do say so myself! :-D
