Another flying insect

This time a bee on an aquilegia in the garden. I'm still bemoaning the lack of flying insects around here. I think the swallows and swifts are having problems with the shortage too as there seem to be less of them than there were a month back. Apparently it is insect week from the 21st June so maybe they are saving their energy for the event. 
This was shot in the morning before the rain settled in for the day causing protests from Angel the cat . She seems to think the weather change is our fault. It's supposed to get sunny again for the weekend so maybe she'll give us some credit for that, but I doubt it. Hope the sun shines for you all this weekend x
